Emma provides a detailed approach to her interior design. Every item contributes to the overall feel of a room. She believes the way your home makes you feel is the most important thing. Understanding her client’s needs is intrinsic to her design process.
Emma loves the experience of designing the spaces in people’s homes. Her aim is to highlight the essence of a space, to choose pieces that bring joy and allow the owners to enjoy their home whilst reflecting their own personality.
She has been working in the interiors industry for more than 20 years. She began her career in PR working for numerous interiors brands including Laura Ashley, William Yeoward, Cath Kidston and David Collins.
She initially made the leap into interior styling, and then into interior design, in 2005, when assisting for interiors magazines including Living Etc, Homes & Gardens, BBC Good Homes, Red magazine and You magazine. Emma then joined the interiors team at You magazine in 2006.
In addition to Emma’s interior design clients, Emma continues to work for magazines and journalists styling interior shoots editorially for both online and offline. Through her styling work she is able to share her in-depth industry knowledge of brands and suppliers, the latest trends and product launches.
Emma is Bromley based working predominately in SE London, her work has also taken her to areas in Kent.
