Lorna trained as a textile designer and started her career by founding the successful eponymous home interiors brand, Lorna Syson. Her skill with colour and design extended far beyond creating fabrics and she soon found clients asking her to help put entire room schemes together.
Lorna joined Decorbuddi, to help clients to bring colour into their homes and support with all aspects of interior decoration and styling. She has a personal interest in the natural world and the power of nature, which can be seen in much of her work, as she helps clients to bring the outside into their homes.
She has also recently implemented her first complete retail interior design for Sosustainable, a new sustainable natural home and beauty store in Walington, Oxfordshire.
Lorna is based in Chalgrove and works with Decorbuddi clients across SE Oxfordshire.
“Lorna masterminded the design of my shop in Watlington, Oxfordshire. It was my first time ever taking on a project like this and I honestly don’t know what I would have done without Lorna. She helped me through the whole process, giving so much more than just an amazing design concept for my shop.
She knew all the right questions to ask and managed to create an absolutely beautiful space that matched exactly what I wanted despite the fact that I wasn’t able to coherently communicate what I wanted!
Lorna is so knowledgeable, patient and practical. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. She really went above and beyond expectations, taking the time to ensure all practicalities had been considered whilst still creating something beautiful. Even six months on from project completion I am still getting people coming into the shop most days and saying how amazing the space is. This wouldn’t have happened without Lorna.”
