Helping Homeless Young People
We believe that everyone deserves a place where they can feel safe and secure. Sadly not everyone has this.
Centrepoint is the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity. They support over 14,000 young people every year. They predict that over 29,000 young people will be homeless or at risk this winter, sleeping in places where they are vulnerable, cold and alone.
This Christmas, we have chosen to support Centrepoint in their quest to give all young people the safety and the long-term support they need to recover from homelessness.
Centrepoint support young people aged 16-25 across 60 services in London, Yorkshire, Manchester and the North East of England. Homeless young people can stay with Centrepoint for up to two years. After this, Cenrepoint keep supporting them for another six months to make sure they can live independently.
They provide accommodation, health support and life skills to get homeless young people back into education, training and employment. Amazingly, 94 per cent of Centrepoint young people move into their own homes or reconnect with their families, get their first jobs or go to university.
For every voucher purchased up until 25th December 2021 we will be donating a Christmas dinner for a homeless person with the help of the charity Centrepoint.
