About London Interior Designer Caroline Periam-Clark
“Growing up my passion for interior design, art and creativity was influenced by my mother’s talent for interiors, fashion and gardens. Our home had the iconic Formica kitchen, now vintage Bauhaus Habitat dining chairs, grass-cloth wallpaper, and still fashionable Ercol furniture. Ironically many of these are now being reinvented. This creative journey led to a degree including psychology, surface design techniques, printmaking, graphics, and photography. In my spare time I enjoyed upholstery and created a catering business for private events.
My first career was in marketing and Brand Management until, post having children, my passion for creating a beautiful and practical home for my own family drew me back to interior design. Launching my new career, I found the project management skills I had developed in marketing were the perfect complement to my design skills and creativity.”
Prior to joining the Decorbuddi team of interior design experts, Caroline spent a period of time working as a kitchen designer, alongside other private interior design projects from simple colour and soft furnishing decoration to complete home renovation.
Caroline’s Decorbuddi projects have covered the full spectrum from modern apartments to period homes, working locally and remotely for international clients, kitchen and bathroom refurbishment, loft extensions, re-upholstery, window treatments, soft furnishings, gallery walls, outdoor garden and terrace spaces.
Caroline is based in Sheen, SW London.

She helped unlock a lot of things that I just couldn’t get my head around and has turned my studio into a multidimensional space for use as my office, listening to music and retreats. Redesign of a Kew Riverside Apartment for International Client
“I hired Caroline from Decorbuddi as a Project Manager to redecorate my 2 bed 2 bath flat in Kew riverside whilst I had been working away. She has been absolutely super not just designing , sourcing elements for every single room but coordinating relevant suppliers and materials also designing a steam shower and tiling. Whilst keeping me up to date and seeking input and exchanging ideas even through remotely.
When I did enter my flat after 3 months , it was like magic , a complete make over like those tv series 🙂 , everything perfectly in its place and functional . I did not recognise my flat ! What I have observed over the period is that She is very passionate about details and worked hours beyond she agreed with me to complete the job .. It was simply a delight to work with her. I would highly recommend her….” VM
