Laura Ball

Interior Designer

Some of the most interesting spaces start out as the most challenging—awkward layouts, blank canvases, nothing quite working yet. That’s where the real creativity begins.

When you combine that with a strong relationship and clear communication, you can shape a space that not only looks beautiful, but feels entirely right for the people living in it.

With a background in fashion buying and a sharp instinct for space, flow and detail, Laura brings both precision and creativity to her interior design work. Her projects are known for their clarity, calmness, and respect for functionality.

After renovating her own property from the ground up, Laura formalised her skills at the KLC School of Design. She went on to work with a bespoke kitchen and build firm, designing interiors and co-managing complex residential projects. This hands-on experience—bridging design and delivery—shapes her practical, design-led approach today.

”One particularly memorable project involved converting a commercial office in Covent Garden into a tranquil city retreat. The change of use meant that we started with a complete blank canvas and were free to re-imagine the space in it’s entirety. It was unusually shaped and awkward and the building was classed as a high risk building so there were tighter regulations to navigate. The result was a tailored, quietly luxurious apartment that our clients were thrilled with”

Laura is particularly skilled at helping clients find clarity early on, using well-drawn plans and visual tools to communicate ideas and shape decisions.

Based in London, Laura works with clients across the capital and surrounding areas on design projects ranging from reconfigurations to full-scale renovations.

What clients say about Laura

Basement Renovation, Brook Green

“It was such a pleasure working with Laura on the renovation of our basement and the design of the kitchen, dining and living areas.

It felt like a true partnership, she understood what we wanted to achieve and her ideas helped bring it all into fruition.

The result is lovely, we are all so happy with it – a wonderful space for both family and friends. We would highly recommend Laura.”

Interior Design, Kew Gardens

“Laura took on the interior design and project management of the open-plan kitchen/living/dining area, cloakroom & utility.

She seemed just to have a perfect sense of what we were going to feel comfortable with, and to find the solution. I don’t think that we rejected anything that she suggested because it just felt the right choice when proposed by her.

Laura has impeccable design sense which is not only combined with her professional skills and efficiency but also with natural warmth, re-assurance, and friendliness – all perfect attributes for an interior designer! We recommend her to you.”

Interior Design, Covent Garden

“The total transformation of an office space into a beautiful 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Laura. She was a great pleasure to work with.

She listened to our ideas and came up with some excellent suggestions, solutions and designs.

We are more than delighted with our newly completed project.”
