Background & Career Journey

Laura’s passion for interiors began early and has remained a constant thread throughout her career. After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire, she founded Laura Felicity, a surface-pattern design studio specialising in wallpapers, fabrics, blinds and lighting. Over fifteen years she developed collections and bespoke designs for private clients, building an expert knowledge of colour, print and how interior products work within a space.

While creating wallpapers and soft furnishings, Laura increasingly found herself helping clients to style rooms, choose finishes and plan decorative schemes. This hands-on experience naturally led her deeper into interior design, working as an interior designer in Hertfordshire, North London and Bedfordshire. She set up her Decorbuddi interior design business in 2019.

Today, Laura combines her background in pattern, craftsmanship and product design with full interior design services, decoration and styling for homes throughout Hertfordshire and surrounding areas.

Drawing on her expertise with fabrics, wallpapers and finishes, she refines details, curates furniture and accessories, and thoughtfully styles each area - from living spaces and bedrooms to those forgotten corners that need purpose and personality. Many of her clients begin the process unsure of how to achieve the home they have in mind; with Laura’s guidance, they gain clarity and confidence, and their houses are gradually transformed into spaces that feel complete, expressive and uniquely theirs.

Notable Work

​ Laura has worked on interior design projects across Hertfordshire, North London and Bedfordshire including full home design & decoration​, new-build & period properties​, specialist bathroom, utility & kitchen design and commercial property, with the recent redesign of a hair & beauty salon.

Working in close collaboration with the client Laura supported in the renovation of a converted Nunery into a beautiful family home. This included a complete redesign of the whole house with new rear extension on the ground floor.
