An elegant space for daytime and evening entertaining.
The glamorous interior design concept is brought to life by an opulent curvaceous design and alluring colour palette. A luxurious, textural quality is achieved by utilising fabrics and materials, rather than flat paint, on the vertical surfaces of the bar and cabinets. We selected lavender-toned leather on the bar base and panels of suede inset into the cabinet doors.
The bar surface is sprayed with liquid rather than sheet metal. This enabled us to make the most of the curvaceous design with a long-lasting finish that would stand the test of time.

Designing a home bar that feels equally impressive during the day and irresistibly glamorous at night requires a thoughtful blend of architecture, atmosphere and exquisite detailing. This London home bar, positioned just off the main entrance of a distinguished period property, was created to deliver an immediate sense of drama and sophistication. As guests walk in, the bar becomes a captivating focal point, setting the tone for the entire home.
Our client entertains frequently and needed a multifunctional, mood-responsive space that would feel intimate for smaller gatherings yet dynamic enough for large celebrations. The resulting interior combines sculptural forms, quality materials and advanced lighting to offer complete flexibility and a lasting sense of luxury.
A Curvaceous, Glamorous Design Concept
The starting point for the scheme was its sweeping architectural shape. The curved bar, fluid seating arrangements and softened silhouettes bring an inviting elegance to the room. Upholstery was created in a bespoke combination of fabrics to echo the gentle movement of the design, ensuring that comfort and glamour go hand in hand.
Every element contributes to the glamour and luxury: the richness of the palette, the subtle shimmer in the finishes and the interplay of materials designed to respond beautifully to light. The space feels indulgent but never overbearing - considered, sculptural and balanced.
Transformative Lighting for Every Occasion
Because the bar is used for a wide range of events, lighting became central to the design strategy. We created a layered scheme that adapts instantly to suit the atmosphere. Integrated LED colour technology, paired with ambient and accent lighting, allows the room to shift mood effortlessly, from a calm daytime retreat to an exciting, high-energy evening setting.
A spectacular existing chandelier featuring silver spheres with gold-lit interiors became a defining feature of the project. To enhance its presence, we added discreet spotlights that reveal its depth and highlight the room’s architectural proportions. The result is a lighting composition that feels theatrical yet in-keeping with the residential setting.
Luxurious Materials & Bespoke Finishes
Rather than relying on flat painted surfaces, we elevated the bar through textural layers and specialist finishes. The base of the bar is clad in a soft lavender-toned leather that introduces colour with sophistication, while panels of suede were inset into the cabinetry to add richness and tactile quality.
To achieve a flawless, long-lasting surface that works with the curved shape, we used liquid metal rather than sheet metal. This specialist sprayed finish allowed us to work seamlessly with the design, producing a beautifully smooth, sculptural result that will remain resilient over time.
