“I have been immersed in interior design all my life, initially working with my family renovating our very tired 80’s influenced home, through my first job as design project co-ordinator for a local luxury construction company to joining Decorbuddi in 2021.
Now I love working with the Decorbuddi team to help clients to make their own interior design dreams become a reality.”
About Imogen Miskin
“My love for interiors really took off when we renovated my parents now home. When we moved in, it was an old and very outdated 80’s influenced property filled with dark green carpets and heavily pattered orange wallpaper. Renovating the property room by room and living in what was at the time a building site, I was fully immersed in it all. Spending most weekends with my mother in the local kitchen, bathroom and flooring showrooms picking out finishes or sourcing furniture from local interior shops in The Cotswolds.”
Imogen’s first professional interior design project was assisting in the design and refurbishment of an old characterful commercial property in Shipston on Stour into a home and interiors shop.
This was followed by work with a local luxury construction company in The Cotswolds as a design project coordinator, shadowing the lead architect, designer and project managers on a high end multimillion pound project, embracing and taking on the day to day running’s of this build project.
Taking on a part-time position for a well established interior showroom in the heart of The Cotswolds provided her with invaluable knowledge of soft furnishings and interior decoration.
Joining Decorbuddi as a Kick-Starter trainee, Imogen initially worked as a creative assistant helping to market the brand and as a Junior Designer sourcing and supporting the purchasing and design team.
Studying at renowned KLC enabled her to build on her practical knowledge of interior design with a deeper understanding of industry best practices, new skills and techniques.
Imogen’s combination of creativity and hard-working can-do attitude with careful attention to detail has helped to establish her as a valuable member of the Decorbuddi interior design team.
