GEORGIAN GRADE II LISTED

Renovation Project

A disaster was turned to advantage when the bottom of this large garden was decimated by a fire in the heat of summer. The owners decided to seize the moment and create a separate social space for themselves and their three adult children.

Working within permitted development guidelines we designed a Dutch Barn style garden room that flows into the garden, with three connected entertaining zones, with bi-fold doors and window.

The scope of works included the installation of all utilities, kitchen, bathroom, media room, living and dining areas. Natural materials and finishes were chosen throughout to blend with the surrounding garden.

"At one point we were concerned about the level of investment that we were making but it has turned out to be very good value. It is in constant use. We were down here every weekend entertaining during the Euros. The positioning of the screen is perfect."
