Jo Miller

Interior Designer

The most successful interiors honour the architecture of the home while adapting it to modern life. Design becomes meaningful when it’s rooted in both place and purpose.

I enjoy the satisfaction of helping people to reinvigorate properties to begin a new life.

Having designed and renovated several of her own properties, Jo qualified in Interior Design at the renowned KLC School. She brings a strong understanding of space, proportion and layout to her work. Her experience enables her to see the potential in a property and translate it into thoughtful, well-balanced designs that enhance how people live in their homes.

She has a deep respect for the personal possessions that make a house feel like home, building on what exists and sourcing original pieces - both vintage and contemporary.
“We have an old trunk that’s been with us through 16 different homes - it’s not just furniture; it’s a thread of memory that connects all the places we’ve lived. I love working with clients in the same way - finding space for the pieces they’ve collected over time, vintage finds or family heirlooms, and building a design around what really matters to them.”

Based in Twickenham, Jo works across London, the Cotswolds and home counties. She has a talent for spatial design and brings an imaginative and practical approach to projects, ranging from London townhouses to country cottages and character-filled homes.

What clients say about Jo

New Build, Southfields

“Working with Jo Miller has been a fantastic experience. We had a particularly demanding brief as we were moving into a new home with a young family and needed a whole redesign of the house in a very short period of time. We both are in fast-paced jobs and to have someone that took such a dedicated approach was very reassuring.

Jo has been completely understanding. She took a great deal of time in terms of understanding the aesthetic that we were after. Following this, she provided a number of different options to pursue in creating the perfect home. Jo provided leadership and direction and really took the stress out of the whole process. She built an atmosphere of trust between us, builders and suppliers.

It became very apparent that exceptional design is a passion for Jo. Her extensive research, contacts with bespoke suppliers, and far and wide reaching handbook was amazing. Her attention to detail was remarkable. We were particularly pleased that Jo took time in educating us in terms of layout to ensure the best possible look.

Her communication has been exceptional throughout. She often went above and beyond, in terms of ensuring that the final product and its placement was outstanding.

Thank you Jo. Our whole family and all of our friends are so pleased (and slightly jealous of!) with the end product!”

Interior Design, Surrey

“I’m so glad we went with Decorbuddi and Jo! With a toddler, two busy jobs and not being creative types ourselves, we didn’t have the time, energy or vision to complete our project.

Jo was fantastic – she took the time to understand our initial ideas and style preferences, considered what would work for our us, gave us several mood boards to choose from, then worked with us to select individual items of furniture and soft furnishings, building it up step by step.

Her experience, as well as her honesty about what colours and textures would go well together, gave us the much-needed confidence to make decisions, and to pick items we might otherwise have overlooked.

She got an idea of our budget early on and pointed out where we could make savings.

Jo made it very easy and we absolutely love the end result. 100% recommend.”

Cottage Renovation, Cotswolds

“My project was a total renovation of a cottage.

After our initial consultation, Jo created a mood board and sought honest feedback on each room.

It was a journey which Jo guided me through and with her knowledge and Vision have now got an amazing nearly completed cottage.

Jo was always on hand to provide advise and shopped like crazy to deliver furniture, soft furnishings all on time and in budget.

A very talented lady who is still very humble and delivers outstanding value for money bespoke design service. ”
