“I worked with Lorraine on a complete redesign of the kitchen/ diner in my basement flat. We ended up with a very different layout than I had envisaged, but much the better for it ! Lorraine sourced beautiful bespoke cabinets to make the most of the small space, with a foldaway solution for the kitchen which works incredibly well. The colours, fitting and flooring she recommended have transformed the property. Further, she managed the project brilliantly, dealing with all tradesmen and even taking appliance deliveries to her own address when I was out of town. “A designer from Decorbuddi visited me last year to help plan out a detailed paint scheme for our four-bedroom semi-detached house in Wimbledon. She had lots of great ideas and paint tips for a family home and helped me turn my uncertain ideas into a confident colour plan for the entire house. Hiring an Interior Designer to help is an expense many people aren’t exactly prepared for or consider. However, I decided I needed some inspiration to help me renovate. It turns out the value I received from Jenny was one of the best investments I made while renovating. I had a budget and hiring Jenny I believe helped keep the cost lower than making mistakes, she saved me lots of time by giving me options I never would have found by myself and ideas I also wouldn’t have considered. After one room was complete and it looked amazing I trusted Jenny way more than myself. She really threw herself into the project, I think at times she had more passion for the outcome than me, actually, I am very sure of this. I would recommend Jenny to anyone as she has a wealth of resources, a keen eye for what would work and can work within your budget.
Sophie is an excellent interior designer. She works very hard to understand the motivations of the homeowner, not just in terms of what a home will look like from an aesthetic point of view but also the emotions that the homeowner wants to experience as part of the re-design. She pushes her clients to be more daring than they might otherwise and has an excellent ability to use colour for dramatic effect. Sophie has a deep understanding of colour and texture but also combines this with practical insight and skills into whether a project will work or not. I really enjoyed working with Sophie.
